Roland Grant’s style is unmistakable: a virtuosic guitar wielding desperado thrilling audiences with passion and bravado. Think Gipsy Kings and Santana meets Yngwie Malmsteen, crossing rock with influences of Flamenco, Latin music, and experience as an international award-winning symphonic composer. He’s opened for Marty Friedman (former Megadeth guitarist) and Orianthi (former Michael Jackson/Alice Cooper guitarist, Multi-Platinum selling solo artist) in Los Angeles. RG’s new single Alma Inquieta was co-produced, engineered, mixed by Grammy nominee German Villacorta (Ozzy, The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, Juan Gabriel). Grant was awarded the prize for Best Tonal Music at the International Antonín Dvořák Composition Competition in Prague, Czech Republic. His self-produced first purely Classical recording entitled Piano Quintet features concert pianist Peter Allen and symphony string players.
